Bhutan Entry Permit for Indian Tourists
Indian citizens do not need a visa to visit Bhutan. However, they must get an Entry Permit to enter and travel within Bhutan.
You can get the permit in two ways:
-
In advance (recommended if you want a smoother arrival)
-
On arrival (common for road entry)
What documents do Indians need for the Entry Permit?
Bring any one of these:

-
Original Voter ID card issued by the Election Commission of India
For children below 18:
-
Passport, or
-

Keep 1–2 passport photos and soft copies on your phone. Immigration can request additional documents if needed.
